Southeast Management Consulting is a full service financial and management consulting firm. We provide financial and accounting support and services to existing organizations, and startups. We can provide full financial/accounting support on an ongoing or temporary basis, and also one time projects. Dave Forinash is the Principal Consultant and owner of Southeast Management Consulting. Dave has over thirty years of Financial / Accounting Management experience, serving as VP/CFO of Harris-Tarkett for 17 years and Vice President, and Group Controller of Domco-Tarkett, Inc.. Dave started his career with Texas Instruments in manufacturing operations and progressed to an Operations Controller for the Industrial Systems Division prior to moving to Tarkett. With Dave’s strong background in operations and information technology, he has a unique ability to assimilate operational information into financial models, and identify operational issues as part of the financial planning process. His belief is an operational plan must be fully integrated into a financial plan, in order to identify any pitfalls and to monitor both financial and operational performance against the business plan. This includes testing the reasonableness of sales/marketing assumptions, manufacturing capacity, credit capacity in the channel, etc.. Throughout his career, Forinash has been involved in a number of acquisitions from the initial identification of acquisition targets, through coordination of operational, financial, and legal due diligence, to the assimilation of the target into the acquiring organization. Over the past twenty years, Dave has been directly involved in managing employee benefit plans with a special interest and expertise in employer sponsored self insured or high deductible healthcare plans.
